Overseen by its Board of Directors, The Townships Project raises money from donors in Canada by means of this website, an annual letter and occasional special gifts.
Funds are transferred as needed through local partners in South Africa, which administer the funds locally.
How to Give
The Townships Project issues income-tax receipts in Canada for donations over C$20.00.
Interac eTransfer is our preferred method to receive donations (your donation isn’t reduced by fees).
You can also give by cheque through our mailing address or make a donation through Canada Helps (charges administration and credit card fees).

Log in to your online bank account.

Create Recipient
Select ‘Send Money’ and enter our email address, donation amount and your name and details to the eTransfer.

Press Send
You’ll be notified in real-time when your money is sent.
