A Message of Thanks From a Partner in South Africa
In January 2024, Martha Deacon had an opportunity to visit Dr. Issac Boshomone at his training facility. We were impressed by his vision and action to make a difference with women and young learners in his community and agreed to help him develop his program further. We’ve continued to support Kgabo Cars in 2025 and have received regular updates from Dr. Boshmone. We recently we received a lovely video thank you message from him and a number of his students. This is Issac Boshomone reporting from Soshunguve Township in South Africa at Kgabo Cars taking this moment to thank The Townships Project in Canada for sponsoring us with the tools and equipment to enable our young learners to learn more so that we can also increase our capacity to cater for more and more young people to develop and move out of the street and play an economic role in their country South Africa. We are really thankful to The Township Project.
